European project

New Horizon

"New Horizon," co-funded by the European Union, aims to empower young immigrants by enhancing their understanding of social entrepreneurship and addressing their unique social challenges. It seeks to equip them with skills, knowledge, and networks to develop practical solutions to these issues and make a positive impact in their communities. The project also aims to raise awareness about European initiatives related to social entrepreneurship and immigrant integration, fostering a sense of initiative and engagement among participants.

Objectives

• Increasing knowledge, skills, and competences of young immigrants about social entrepreneurship.

• Better understand the social issues young immigrants are facing.

• Develop realistic solutions to these issues.

• Amplifying the network base of the target group.

• Increase their knowledge about the European initiatives that are in place to help them starting their businesses.

• Experience of international cooperation at the European level between different types of organisations active in the youth
field.

• Improved quality of organisations' activities.

• Strengthened operational and staff capacities.

Results

• Report identifying the social issues immigrants feel they face daily.

• Training on the 5 social entrepreneurship skills (deep empathy, innovation, systemic view, sustainable approach, involving
change makers).

• Realistic business plans.
