Obiettivi
We seek to apply enabling policies and strategies to promote inclusivity. We aim to build the capacity of the VET workforce by providing training and resources to support disabled learners effectively. Additionally, we are committed to better including people with disabilities in VET education, thus addressing their marginalization in the labor market. Moreover, we aim to reduce the social and economic costs associated with exclusion, while also providing opportunities for skill development relevant to labor markets. Additionally, our objectives include ensuring the quality and relevance of training, increasing access to VET programs, and promoting social inclusion.
Attività
Activities include thorough consultation with key stakeholders such as employment services, and trade unions, and engaging in social dialogue to develop recommendations for adapting educational offerings. We also conduct training courses for VET trainers and assessors, integrating modules on disability awareness and accommodation. Additionally, we develop a comprehensive toolkit for VET teachers focusing on inclusive delivery, assessment methodologies, and communication strategies. Furthermore, we collaborate closely with transnational partners to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and develop innovative solutions to common challenges. Activities following during the project are:
1. Consult the national strategy/policy on disability
The activity is the first stage of the project whose results will be used by the partners in the following activities. All the
participating organizations will conduct the data collection, led by TA which will shape the recommendations. It will help the partner organizations to better understand the needs and the situation of the target group, to be able to
address it properly. We believe also that the activity will contribute directly to enhancing the transversal skills of the partner
organizations through facing another culture and working with them.
